If you just want the link to appear as a link, maybe just close the url tag after the url -

Like *http://www.jonathancandler.com]* but without the asterisks (no equal signs):

Signature Hyperlink Problems

Post by Wiz Feinberg »

David, and others with hyperlinks in your signatures;

The new forum software is having problems with certain facits of the imported content from the old forum, including displaying links in your signatures. What you need to do is log into your Profile and go over all the options, then save the changes, even if you don't change anything. This has the desired effect of making your links work in HTML and/or BBCode. I had to do this before the links in my signature became active. You can also set your default Posting options there.

David. You have one too many brackets, which is throwing off the BBCode. Remove the left facing square bracket after the .com.

Here is what it should look like: [URL]http://www.jonathancandler.com[/URL]

I posted this reply with BBCode turned OFF, which disables the conversion of the URL tags into active links. This option can be chosen when you post, or in your member profile. If you turn off BBCode in your profile your links will not work in your signature.
