Tele-Tubbies

Post by Paul Graupp »

5 month old Caled and his Granddad were watching his favorite show. There was a clip showing kids rolling down a hill and the music had a steel guitar in it. It just fit perfectly with the action as they rolled down the slope. I might even think it was a pedal steel guitar because the resolution of the slides was different but then again that could have been a slant position as well.

The show was date tagged as BBC 1999 so they've been favorable for some time. It was not like some of the other shows that use the steel prominantly but I must say I enjoyed it !! Image Image Image

Paul I knew you'd be a fan of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La La and Poe.

Falwell is a big fan, when he's not hanging out with Pee Wee Herman.

Well Paul I believe that two of the Teletubbies are female I just have a hard time working out which two so maybe the purple is one of them. Although I reckon your theory is far more credible. Image

Interesting Trivia
After negotiating a cultural exchange program with China for six years, this historic document has finally been signed between Britain and China.
Guess which show has been chosen by China to represent the height of 20th century western artistic achievement to Chinese TV viewers?
Teletubbies........

The strange thing is that it makes sense!

I once saw a comedy sketch show where they had the drunken rip-off the Tele-stubbies (for those who aren't in the know, a stubbie is a short necked beer bottle here in Australia).
And they had names like Tipsy and stinky.. and got drunk all the time of course.
