I'd like say how well David played. Those who left the show before Sun. really missed out.I was part of the Hummingbird Show last April in Ohio. That was the first time I got to hear him live. He has become one of my favorites. When ever you get a chance to hear him don't miss out on it. He is Great!

David Spires & Jerry Brightman you make Ohio Steel players proud.

I didn't get to go, but I will say that I love his playing. He's one of my favorite! He's in my 10 fav, and that's saying a lot. I'm glad to call him a close friend. It has been a while since we've talked to each other, though. (HINT HINT hehe)

I too really liked David's playing. I haven't heard him for many years and was really impressed with his playing. Keep up the great work David!

My friend David,is another one of the very under-rated pickers in this town! (or any other town, for that matter.) My first exposure to David was at one of the shows in Knoxville, several years ago. I thought,"WOW,how come I've never heard of this guy before??" I'm happy to say that he is a member of our own N.T.S.G.A. (also, the first treasurer,& a valued friend.)

Norman Hamlett was sitting in the audience, near my wife and I, while David was playing Sunday. Mr. Hamlett was taping it. I leaned over to my wife and told her how proud I would be if I played well enough that Norman Hamlett would want to tape it. I hope David knows about it.

I thought it was very cool!

David indeed played a super set at ISGC.I am proud to say that I got to hear David the first time that he played the Talent Search in ST Louis. I have followed his music career for several years.

He graduated with honors.Glad to see him on the BIG SHOW.
