Hello, Doug, this is Brett Day, the steel player with cerebral palsy. I'm still playing my Emmons steel and loving it! I'm not stopping my steel playing. I decided to play steel since I couldn't handle acoustic or electric guitar. I also decided to play steel because I love country music. I'd tried other instruments before playing steel guitar, but now I'm playing the instrument I really love. I loved steel when I was a little kid, but the thought of playing didn't come to my mind until 1998. I had wondered if I could handle it before I got into it, but I was still experimenting with other instruments. I've always loved the steel guitar, I always have and always will love the steel guitar. Brett Day, Emmons S-10
