There is a Paul Overstreet song called"I Couldn't Find My Walking Shoes".
It's waltz that a singer like Dale could really lean into, and it's very steel friendly.
I heard a Seldome Scene version of it with Mike Auldridge and I broke out in a sweat, it's so soulful. If you can get in touch with Mike Auldridge, he could tell you about it.
I don't know if I'm stepping out of line to suggest what you play, but I mean well, and it would sound so good on the Fulawka..

Cool Andy; I'm sure it's a great song.
Dale doesn't particularly record or sing songs other than his own.....unless it's a classic standard. I however would love to hear it if you say it is that good...I love a good melody.

I have it on a 30th year anniversery Seldome Scene double CD. Baritone singer John Starling sings lead on it. I haven't heard it anywhere else. It's 100% country to the bone. Thanks for your thoughtful reply, Ricky.
