Alan Jackson's band
My Dad just got back from the Alan Jackson concert in Erie, PA and he is wondering who all the band members were, particularly the steel guitar player who was playing a Derby pedal steel. Any info on this or links to web sites with this information would be greatly appreciated.

The rythum guitar player is Tom Rutledge, a
good friend of mine and originally from Springfield, Ill. You might try Alan's web
site for more info (www.alanjackson.com).

And I remember a 13 or 14 year old kid with the name of Bob Hempker from Ohio that came to Fort Wayne, Ind. and played a whole lot of steel. That's been a while ago. Back to what this post was about I think Alan Jackson and George Strait are about the only true country acts out there to get any airplay. We still get away with playin' "Traditional Country" every weekend, Doyle
