Daryle Singletary's new one

Post by Eddie Lange »

After suggestions from you guys here, I bought it today. Great album. It has got to be one of the country-est major label albums since Keith Whitley passed away. Too bad it is not original tunes, maybe a little later.....Anyway, buy the record and maybe, just maybe, we can show Nashvegas that country can sell. (That is probably a pipe dream.)

I did the same as you Eddie after hearing all the hype about this album. Now I can't get the darn thing out of my CD player in the pick up. My wife says to push the eject button. Might try that in a few days.

Mike Johnson's playing on this cd is really first class! Darryl is one of the best traditional country singers you'll ever hear.
Audiom Records is really finding its niche and in the process is helping to promote great country music. Hopefully, people will go out and purchase this cd and not just burn copies of it for their friends.

Remake of some good old tunes and in some cases, better. Great voice, super music and of course, Mike's steel work is fresh and perfect and the arrangements are first class.

I noticed in the remake Daryle did of the John Wesley Ryles song, "Kay", he changed the line to "fiddles, STEEL guitars, and piano's, how they play, instead of "fiddles, guitars and pianos"...ya just gotta like a guy who promotes steel like that! Image
