Chuck,
We are mighty pleased to have you. Your being a new member and I assume a relatively new steel player, cannot know what a really wonderful medium this is.
When I was learning to play steel, there was NObody I could talk to or hear, except an ocassional song on radio. Oh how nice it would have been if there had been something like this to help.
But you and all of us have it now. And it is great. We owe a great deal of gratitude to b0b, for what he has provided here. I know of NO other instrument sooo well represented on the internet like our beloved steel guitar. Thank you b0b.
Again, welcome aboard chuck. And may our Lord richly bless you always,
carl

Hi Chuck.Glad you're on board. Ijust a raw beginner set here for weeks readin the info on the forum and wouldn't dare ask anything because some of these people are pros. But started asking these peopleand they bent over backwards to help such as how to maintain my steel to gettin tabs. And I guess that is is the way the steel tradition is gonna stay alive, BY PASSIN IT ON. So jump in with both feet and these people will help you with any thing from tabs, maintaining you geetar to changing oil in your car. Ther help and info has give me the stamina to stay with tryin to play the steela lot of times. So ENJOY. I noticed you live down the road from me. I live 5 miles north of TN state and work in UNION CITY. Good Luck and by for now. KENNY RAY LYNNVILLE,KY
