?? for Gary Brandin re: Vanduras
I was wondering if you would post an equipment list used on the Vanduras CD; amps, steels, various guitars??

Okay, on tracks 5. 8. and 11. I used my D-10
Franklin thru a 1956 Rickenbacker M15 amp.
For the rest I played my DW-8 Rickenbacker
thru a 6 watt Magnatone (mot) amp. On the song 'Atomic' I went thru my old Roland Space Echo with my son pushing the tape away from one of the heads to get that feed back sound.
We used a Pro Tools program called 'Real Verb' for the steel only. My son used a Fender tube reverb for most of his guitar work. Oh, I forgot, on track 10 I played thru
a 1953 Silvertone. Also I used a 'E-Bow on Sarajevo Rose, and used the tone control to change the timbre while playing the part.

A few years ago, my band 'The Blue Hawaiians' were hired by Nickelodeon to do some music for this cartoon (SpongeBob) that
none of us had heard of. They asked us to record our own wacky versions of Hawaiian music. For example, the second half of the SpongeBob cartoon "Reef Blower" is the song
'Hawaiian War Chant' in reverse, so you'd never recognize it. I believe The Blue Hawaiians are just a small part of the music on SpongeBob, But I'm glad we're in there.
We would now like to move beyond cartoon music. Maybe a workout video..."Buns of Steel Guitar"? (sorry)
