A while back I gave up on steel guitar. It seemed as if I'd never find a band to play with (as if I was ever good enough to play with a band ) and time was tight. And every gig I got was to play flamenco guitar not steel guitar. So what seems like many months ago I sold my Sho Bud and decided to focus my time on six-string guitar. I kept my Stringmaster because there was a slight chance that a classic country/western swing trio I had been playing with might actually last. But that broke up, too. So I put my Stringmaster in its case and put it away in the closet.
Then today I'm in the local guitar store trying out a Tele through an early 70's Fender Vibrosonic and a couple of guys started talking to me. The conversation somehow turned to steel guitar and they told me they have a band but want to start playing their true love, country music, and they would love to have a steel guitar. There was certainly chemistry between us and they liked my attitude.
Well, you probably know the rest. I guess the bottom line is I'm coming back...
[This message was edited by David Biagini on 27 April 2002 at 02:49 PM.]

[This message was edited by David Biagini on 27 April 2002 at 02:49 PM.]

[This message was edited by David Biagini on 27 April 2002 at 02:51 PM.]
