Randy Pokeda--new CD

Post by Skip Cole »

I just want to say Randy's new CD,"Mixing It Up", is a very well put together selection of songs done by a very gifted musician. I believe that Randy is one of Canada's finest pickers as he contibutes not only his steel guitar talent but also plays dobro, banjo, and guitar, on his CD. My favorite cut was " Tears In Heaven", a Clapton song, and he does a great job on all the rest also. The CD was engineered by my pal, Dennis Manuel, from way up in Williams Lake, B.C. and produced by Randy. You can email Randy at pokeda@midbc.com and get your copy , I believe you'll enjoy it.---Skip

Randy has demonstrated that he can play many instruments very well. Denis Manuel did a fine job recording the instruments. Regards Bob

Thanks folks for your kind comments. This is my first project, and I am very happy with the outcome. It is very traditional, which is what I wanted for the first one. I have been getting a great response from it, better that I ever imagined. Thanks again.
