My camera was full when I got to the theatre and I didn't know it so I only have one more shot of Buddy but Bob Knight has several and he will download his and post them here when the spirit moves him or when Sandy tells him too. Image

The "dude" with the Les Paul is Scott Coney. I think he's still working with George Jones and is one fine player!

The guitarist behind Johnny is occasional Bandolero Weymond McBride, who is one fine lead guitar picker! He doesn't live in Texas anymore but it sure hasn't hurt his picking any. Whenever he sits in, it's a treat and a half. Image

Johnny Bush was magnificent!! Whatta a great host for "The Midnight Jamboree"!! This also was the first time ever played live (at the Jamboree) the recent recording of Johnny Bush with Emmons on steel "I'd Wish I'd Seen You're Goin' Comin'". When Buddy kicked it off by himself and did the turnaround, you could have heard a pin drop! Justin Trevino, bass, sang "We Could" and everyone loved Justin and Buddy on that one. Hal Rugg, Scotty, John Hughey, Jimmy Crawford, Smiley Roberts, and so many pickers were in heaven hearing the show. We ALL owe David McCormick of ET Record Store/Midnight Jamboree a great debt for putting together such a wonderfully memorable night!

I was there on the second row just in front of some guy that
kept saying something about owls and chickens, That show was the best I've seen at the E.T. record shop, and I've seen quite a few. also I was at E.T. record shop Monday and commented how good the show was and the lady there said "Saturday night's show was the biggest crowd ever" you'd think people would get it wouldnt you? by the way Mike the pictures are great!

Thanks Mike for the fine seats at the Record shop Jamboree. That was a fun night going to Legdens and Seeing John pick and then seeing Buddie with Johnny Bush. I got back to Atlanta at 7:00am on Sunday and then went to Gardendale Al to see John, Hal, and Russ what a weekend
