Dave Van Allen, new CD Boffo!

Post by Jeremy Steele »

I just wanted to tell the Forum that "Steel Guitar Danse Party" is killer. Very eclectic selection of tunes, Dave sings great, plays even better. My personal fave, "My Old Kentucky Home"...beautiful phrasing, and the tone of that Zum is beautiful! Kudos!

thanks guys, glad you are enjoying it. Image

please remember the first four cuts are from the original danse party...the others are bonus cuts... the last two, the most recent, might lead you to believe I've mellowed in the last twenty years... Image

Got mine this weekend.
Reminds me of what the Cars and Talking Heads would have sounded like with a PSG.
Recording quality really stands out.
Great stuff.
Thanks Dave, really.
