Boss Tone Users,How many on here?

I still use a sho-bud mid 1970's boss tone for strings every now and then.and for rock guitar effects and to play the race car.anybody elses still use a boss tone and enjoy it as much as myself?let me hear from you.

I just got mine fixed-sort of. The knobs don't work so its just on or off. My amp has distortion built in but its inconsistent.
I used it for the first time Sat. at a fill in gig. The guitar player that I work with came in and said he really liked how it sounded on a blues number we played.
I like the string sound it gets but we have a 10 piece band so the keyboard and fiddle players win that one.

Ah-The sho-bud one. The one I'd like to have is the old Jordan BossTone. Cage uses one(he actually has 3), and so do many others-but they're near impossible to find. Glenn Suchan has one-I got my hands on one once, but it was so damaged that even LeMay couldn't fix it.

I quit using my old Jordan Bosstone a while back but recently got the Voodoo Labs reissue, which is in a larger footpedal style case, much sturdier, has a power supply jack and sturdy knobs (!) but the same great old sound. The reissue is supposed to use the exact same components as the original Jordan- and it does sound the same. I think they're also no longer being made but you can probably find one at any place that sells boutique guitar pedals. I got mine for $50 at Rock Block in Nashville across from the Exit Inn, and they had a couple more left...

The first "effect" that I ever used on steel-I still keep two of them in my pak a seat and still use them often-good to have when you have to play "Rock and Roll"

I have one that A friend of mine found at a yard sale a couple of years ago,I'm not sure of the make,but I will check later today.I never use it,it is in mint con.If anyone out there has to have it let me know.stu
