DISPLAY TOO WIDE FOR SCREEN

Post by Rusty Walker »

I have a 17" flat screen but some sites are too wide for the screen.Even some topics on the Forum I have to scroll to read.Going into tools and minimizing doesn't do it.I'm not very good around computers so would appreciate help.Thanx,Rusty

What resolution do you have the screen set for? It it's less than 1024X768 that may be the problem. Some sites are set for that resolution and if you have a monitor set, for example at 800X600, you would have to scroll to see it all.

Occasionally a very wide post will wind up on the forum because someone posts a large picture or URL.

You should change the resolution from your video card and within Windows.

RIGHT click on an empty space on the screen then LEFT click on Properties. Click on the Settings tab and that should bring up the screen to set the resolution. It's not done on the monitor itself.
