Attachements-

When I recieve some attachements , On Int Exp outlook express email. The program won't let me open them. I t says to protect me from unsafe ones. I know they are not unsafe. They are from known friends that I know.
How can I make them open up??....al

The default security setting for Outlook Express is to block file attachments. To allow attachments to download and open in Outlook Express, click on Tools > Options > Security > and UNCHECK the option labeled "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."

Review the other security options available, decide what to allow or deny, then click Apply to save and then OK to close the options. I would recommend selecting the radio option to use the Restricted sites zone for opening email, as it will disable some common exploit codes used by viruses and spambots.
