Need "C" band 4dtv computer info
Are there any satellite guys here ?
I'm looking for info on resetting the computer
on a GI 900 4dtv sat receiver . I think I know
how its done ! but not sure what to expect .
Question ??
will I loose all the satellite modules ?
OR - will it revert to factory satellite list ?
Thanks
Hick

Bob; I'm sorry I know diddly squat about the 4DTV side of C-band. But, perhaps you can help me here...
Is there any life left in C-band? All of the analog transponders are going bye-bye. All that's left in analog is CNN and a few cable channels that I already get on the wire. Is there more programming available on the digital side of the big ugly dish? If so, whadda I gotta buy for my IRD to get it?
Thanks for the info.
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 26 February 2006 at 05:46 PM.]

Hello Bob;
I just saw you post here on the 4DTV sat receiver.I have one also.I use NPS for my programming-good service & several packages to choose from.Also, if you want to i can tell you how to get the RFD channel over your big dish too- you have to buy a smaller receiver & hook it up in tandem but it works great & best of all you can get it free after you purchase the box..Let me know if you are interested-email me & i will get back to you later...Ron
