Overdubbing BIAB Midi w/ int sound cd

Post by Joseph Meditz »

Using BIAB MIDI output and the built in PC sound card is there a way to add PSG parts in one shot without first rendering the MIDI to .wav and then using another recording program to add the PSG part? Can Power Tracks do this?

TIA,
Joe

yes, just hit the red circle with the wav inside of it which has a "R.Aud" under it and you will be recording what you want on the audio track to the file you are playing with.
You will need to set up your recording properties to either "line or mic" depending on which input you use. I explain how to record on the audio track on my site at www.gwixon.com and I'm doing it using my voice to explain how the harmony setion works but you can use this same section to help you out with recording your steel.
The section you want is on pitch correction and harmony for singing in the 2004 help section and just leave out the audio pitch tracking and harmony part of the section

Thanks George!

So, this method is completely analog in that you are mixing the sound card LINE OUT with PSG and then inputting them into the LINE IN. OK.

Btw, I've visited your website previously and found it to be very helpful. But how did you know I my singing needed pitch correction? Image
