Can I hook up a keyboard to USB in to use Powertracks, etc.? I have Win98 and next to the USB port is MIDI/joystick in. The guy at Guitar Center said to use MIDI-USB. Anybody have any experience with this?

Michael,
I needed the same thing, for the same purpose, and found this piece to be readily available and rather inexpensive.

You can do it that way if you already have a Midi keyboard.
If you are in the market for a Keyboard, Edirol, Evolution or a lot of others will sell you a USB keyboard which does not need an external power supply , taking what little power it needs from the USB port.
Some of them even have a MIDI interface built in, so you can connect a sound module to the computer by plugging into the Keyboard.
Cheers
