I am looking for a road-tested wiring diagram for a Dual Pro trap PU guitar. I am aware of the diagram on the John Ely page, which has two configurations (link below). Anyone have a wiring scheme they implemented and like?

It’s basically the same way you’d wire a 2 single coil pup tele with a 3 way switch. Don’t overthink it.

I won't say they are wrong, but both those schematics you linked to are "unusual". The first one lacks a connection to the input lug on the volume pot and would give a strange taper on the volume, the second has an unnecessary input connection to the lug on the pot. I would do as Michael says and just wire it as though it were a 2 pickup Telecaster
