A question for resophils,
Am I safe in assuming that most builders of modern square neck resonator guitars employ a bolt on neck utilizing cross dowels, threaded inserts, hanger bolts or some other variant? If so, do modern builders also secure the fingerboard extension to the top with small screws hidden under the position markers like the old Dobros, or do they glue the fingerboard in place? Either practice makes sense to me, I am just wondering if there is preference.
Thanks,
Gary
