Restore tech for ‘72 Shobud Maverick in Michigan?

Post by Scott Ratell »

Looking for help restoring my 1972 Maverick. Missing C-pedal. Stays in tune and plays well, but underside has definitely been tinkered with and looks to be a mess. My first steel and anxious to get it set up correctly so I can learn to play it. Not much success locating a tech here in Michigan so far. I am willing to ship out of state if necessary. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Not having much luck here. If anyone knows where I can locate a C pedal I would appreciate the direction. As usual I will end up doing the research, find the resources and do the restore myself. That’s how ya learn!

Hi . So does your guitar have a knee lever ? I think there is a steel guitar shop in Ohio that may be able to help you out . Don't know the name for sure , "Steel Guitars Ohio" perhaps . Good luck . Jerry
