Post by Paul Awalt »

Out now, a great new Steel Guitar Arts Council YouTube Interview. Wish I knew how to upload the website to make it easier to view.

Bruce mentions a lot of good stuff and gives inside advice.

One of my favorite things is when he discusses tuning, in regards to the 7th string and the E-F KL. Also, the advice he got from Weldon was to just make it work for you, even if it means slanting your bar in some positions or making a 2 note chord instead of a three note chord. Good stuff!

I watched it a couple weeks ago - outstanding!

Bruce is a straight shooter - and a humble man despite his brilliance and accomplishments as a steel player.

Russ is doing us a wonderful service with these interviews. A class act and a good man.
