My Photos from the 2024 TSGA Jamboree

Post by Jim R. Harrison »

I had problems this year as my 'good' digital reflex camera didn't shoot, therefore, I had to use my pocket camera! Despite that, I did take over 230 images. Travel & rugby practice (I scored 2 tries!) slowed me down. Here are my selected images. Colour may be somewhat off.

Thank you so much Jim.
I was wondering why you did not have that monster camera at the show.

Nothing wrong with these pictures.

Love ya pal

Interesting lone TPS, Texas Pedal Steels, represented. I know of course Steve Palousek is one fabulous player, but I'm interested to hear what some of you think of the guitar...wondering why we don't see more of them.

My two cents on the Texas Pedal Steel guitar is they are well designed and well made plus they sound very good. Steve played his as good as he all ways has played. Ron Browning and John Casic (sp) are doing a great job. I too do not know why they have not caught on. Maybe some day soon? J.R. Rose

Thanks JR. These guitars are so similar to the earlier MCI/EMCI that were hugely popular in the 80s. I figured they'd be seeing more activity among players. I know it'd be on my short list if I were in the market for a new guit.

Apologies to Jim for cluttering up your pic thread, great photos btw.

I return you to the original topic.

Thank you to all who made very nice comments on my photos, above. Yesterday, I got my "large camera" back from repair. It turned out that the sensor to the shutter was obscured; repair cleaned it so camera works well again so I'll be ready for next year!! Kindest regards, Jim Harrison
