So sorry to post this, but I will be unable to attend the Texas show this year. My daughter is having (minor) surgery that week and I need to be home during her recovery. My apologies , I’ll see you all at next years show.

That is an "excused absence," my Brother. Of course, you're doing the absolute correct thing.

I will personally miss you greatly, and my best, most sincere wishes for your daughter's complete recovery.
