Had a little time after dinner for about a week now thought I’d build a box for my pedals that I use, it’s turning out pretty corny but it’s cute. Check it out. I didn’t realize it until I put legs on it that it looks like a baby pedal steel, future pictures to come…it’s far from being done yet but I got all winter !
Idk about this blues driver for some dirt on new country rock & roll but it’s all I got for now , any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks Paul , I’ve never had a pedal board before and im trying to figure it out and try my luck building one the old fashion way , I love inventing and love Rube Goldberg ideas but there’s no genius in me
This idea with locking legs turned out great with latches to hold it all together,
I took some old redwood panels from a garage door job I tore out and refurbished a couple panels to make the box
The legs are custom built to fold down like a steel seat but different locks to hold them up or in the down position so it’s easy for anyone to figure out
and very quick to set up and take down.
The tray that holds the electronics, I haven’t figured out how they hold the pedals in place, need to do more homework on that ,I’ve not a clue !
But it’s small, fast to setup, lightweight and pretty lookin
I’ll have to send pics to you when it’s finished

Neat that the latches that locks the top and bottom together, Also locks the legs in position.
Thinking out of the box to build a box.

Finished it and I’m happy with how it turned out

It’s a split system with a send and receive for before and after the VP. It only fits four pedals but that’s all I use anyway, but having the send and receive in it, it makes it unlimited for whatever reason. The tuner and blues driver are before VP, and the delay and reverb are after the VP, they don’t make a hinge that does what I wanted to do, so I welded three flush mount hinges together, cut and sized to fit this box to hold it all together and stabilize the pedal tray when it’s opened completely

Your hinges look nice. That using 3 hinges so there is 3 hinge points, The cover and bottom fold together aligned. And it opens and aligned in set up position. Way to go.

I like your observation that it looks like a baby steel. You should put a matching emblem on the front (and maybe a set of baby pedal rods)

This split system Works excellent with my Quilter speaker, BUT if I run direct into the house board I have to eliminate the 202 and use a passive volume pedal instead of this Goodrich , idk what happens internally but the Goodrich has very little pedal action and becomes really touchy, it’s horrible for both of the settings it has,
As far as the 202 being eliminated I’m not sure why it works better without it, It’s really not my job to run the mixer and fine tune it other than asking to turn things up or down so it’s close and that freeloader does a great job of adjusting the tone dam near exactly where I want it
Not bending over to adjust the pedals makes it a lot funner Happy camper
