So, what does a PEI Junior rotary effect sound like, you ask

Amplifiers, effects, pickups, electronic components, wiring, etc.

So, what does a Junior sound like?

By far, my favorite was what I used in the 70s and 80s, a PEI Junior. Unfortunately, it gave up the ghost. I had used a Univox Univibe before the Junior and Boss RT20 later in life. I currently use (for maybe 10 years now) a Tech 21 Rotochoir. I used it on this song/video in 1983.

A brief search on the internet turns up almost nothing on this device.

Do you still have it?
Has anyone ever looked at it?

Even without a schematic, it's 50 year old technology.
It can't be that complicated that a reasonably good tech with some minor test equipment might not be able to fix.

I have one but it stopped working and it’s been on a shelf for ten years. It was a cool sound.

Nope. I tossed it out 20+ years ago.

I also loved mine and, like everyone else'it seems, mine died a long-ago death.

I seem to recall that they were originally called The Lester but Leslie made a stink so the named was changed to The Junior. (?)
