Great steel amp

Post by Eric OHara »

Hi all, I’ve seen a lot of questions on the forum in the past about which amp to use for psg.
I’ve stumbled upon an am that is really sweet for psg. I’ve been using this amp for electric guitar and it’s incredible for that application but recently tried it (at home) with psg and it sounds great. If you’re looking for a studio or live amp this rig will fit the bill if tubes are what you prefer. It has a few different options for tube compliments as well. I’m running 6v6’s but it can be set up with 5881’s for higher power use. I have yet to try it in a high volume situation but it has plenty of headroom so I’d imagine it could hold its own. And built like a tank.
