Dan Schafer
I stumbled on this video of Dan Schafer while he was backing Becky Hobbs.
Monster sustain on that beautiful MSA.
Dan seems to be another "Roy Clark" in the way of mastering numerous instruments.
He's got quite an impressive resume.

I used to play in this group and lived with Dan Schafer in Dearborn. Dan is still in Nashville, and he no longer plays steel. However if you're ever through the Nashville Airport look for him.
