Zoom Ms-50G pedal for effects

Post by Ben Godard »

Anyone using this out there. I’m looking for one that already has steel guitar settings programmed in. If anyone wants to part with there’s, I’d be interested

I’ve got a 50 that Tommy Dodd programmed with his settings. Great unit, hope you find one.

Well I’m not sure what “steel guitar settings” are. I just use the settings used for any electric instrument. I have 2 50s and 1 70 and I use them all the time. They are very good considering how many quality effects they contain..

I use one with my Nashville 400 for reverb, as the amp reverb died. I have one patch for spring reverb and one for reverb and delay. I put it in the front panel effects loop. I don't use it with my Nashville 112 (yet).
Carter D10 8p/7k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup, Regal RD40 Dobro (D tuning), Recording King Professional Dobro (G tuning), NV400, NV112, Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open G slide and regular G tuning guitar) .

Playing for 55 years and still counting.

I have the 100. It’s very nice but probably overkill for what I’m doing. Mostly reverb & delay. I probably should have gotten the 70.

I did find a nice flanger on it. The auto-wah is a hoot too, but I’d never use it at a gig. Unless we were doing an odd song.

I have the 50. It's my fly pedalboard.
