Keeley Caverns Delay and Reverb

Long story. I used a POD X3 for delay/reverb and other effects such as chorus, phase, etc. As I'm not regularly playing out and the POD X3 was used 99% of the time for Delay and reverb I decided to get a Delay and reverb unit and bought the popular NUX Atlantic. It worked good but I missed the other effect options in the POD X3 so I sold the NUX Atlantic and went back to the POD X3. I re-evaluated and with the basically "bedroom picking only" I decided the POD X3 with all the effects really wasn't needed so it was sold. That left me with a delay pedal and reverb in the Quilter TB202, which I'm not a big fan of.

I decided to get another delay/reverb combo unit and was going to buy another NUX Atlantic. I came across a seller on Reverb that was selling the Keeley Caverns for the same price as the NUX Atlantic and with the higher rated reviews and that its built in Oklahoma instead of China I bought the Keeley Caverns unit. Initial thoughts, I like the Delay better than the NUX Atlantic. The Keeley can even sound like an old Echoplex, if someone wanted that. On a negative note, the Keeley documentation is one step above nothing.

I've got both (for the reasons of GAS and of having a large and a small pedal board for different gigs).
I like them both. At the moment the NUX has the upper hand. If I could slice & dice the two units and add some features of one other delay I like, I'd have the perfect device. But it's ok and I'm covered for now.

Yes, that is what comes with it. Many others, along with what the knobs are, go into greater detail and even offer some sample settings.

I like the unit and its a keeper but can't say much for their support either. Initially I was having some problems getting the reverb set to how I wanted and sent an e-mail to their support. Never heard back.

I also had the Nux Atlantic pedal, but I prefer the Keeley Caverns much better. IMHO

Can the Keeley Caverns reverb be adjusted to have a decent Hall sound without the shimmer or modulation?

Its design is to emulate a spring reverb, don't know if it can be adjusted for a hall emulation.

I recently bought a Keeley Seafoam Plus chorus and upon using it I subsequently sold all my other chorus pedals . Keeley makes great stuff.
I have recently purchased three various “boutique “ pedals from three different builders and found they each came with very little in the way of operating instructions/information and the most minimal user manuals. Youtube search has been my best source of info
