Mike Sweeney give him a listen

Post by Larry Behm »

I have heard Mike play at conventions over the years, but I was not listening. I have heard him play on YouTube videos, but I was not listening. Shame shame on me. Mike is a rock on both necks with tone to the bone on his old Zum.

If you want to hear what a professional steel player plays listen to him he has it in spades. It is easy to see why he is in demand by Nashville recording artists.

Mike if you see this, thanks for the CD’s and your conversation in Dallas

Yep. Been a fan of Mike's for many years. He is always dead on target with taste and tone. Top notch in every aspect.

Mike plays beautifully. I have several of his CD's. Do yourself a favor and look into purchasing his products. He does lessons too! On top of that he's a pretty good feller.

Mike's sets at this year's Texas Jamboree were incredible.

In the last couple of years I made a special trip to Cowtown to see Mike with Mel Tillis, Jr. and band. Yes, he’s a monster player and was so nice all that night! I first experienced his picking at the Dallas years ago and I have been a fan since that time! Keep it up the good work Mike! RP
