you'll have to try everywhere such as amplified parts, tube depot, tube store, ebay, reverb, musician's friend, sweetwater, etc. prices have gone up dramatically during the last two years due to covid and now going up considerably due to war and none coming from russia.

note that your post really should be in electronics or want to buy.

Definitely check out tubedepot.com

I've done a lot of biz with them.

I've had good luck on ebay. Skip Simmons on his podcast recommended a specific seller: "dangeruxb". But I bought from a couple of other sellers. just make sure they have a lot of positive reviews and you should be good. You can get gently used or NOS tubes or whatever you're looking for.

With the political situation in Russia the supply from Sovtek will diminish. For power tubes, Mesa Boogie are matched, tested and held to a high standard.

I've bought tubes from AES from back when they were Antique Radio Supply and specialized in the tube radio restoration niche. I bought Sovteks on sale and one order of chinese tubes, they were junk but the russian ones, probably because they were still making tubes for their army radios, were decent. I have a tube tester and an oscilloscope so matching is no big deal. Back then I don't recall many domestic tubes being available and the sovteks were dirt cheap. That has changed but last time I looked AES had a bunch of brands available. If you're not in a pinch and have a bunch of amplifiers you might want to occasionally look at tubesandmore.com to see what you might want to have handy.
