Jerry Maranville
Jerry was from Matheson, CO and lived the last years of his life there. I met him when he was at Kansas State University. He changed my life. I first heard him play in 1964, Prior to that I did not know what a steel guitar was. He got me started on a MultiKord.
Jerry had a Phd in agronomy and taught at Nebraska and worked with farmers all over the world.
RIP Jerry and thanks for what you did for me.
My prayers are with Donna and the family.

Welcome to the forum Charlie. How cool is it that you're 15 and want to learn to play pedal steel. Wonderful.
I'm sorry for your loss.
