Yes, that was him.

I got curious, did a search, and found this from Russ Wever:
Dunno if this fits "famous or well known people"
but Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on
'Leave To Beaver' used to have a Sho-Bud
Maverick at home.

Ken loved country music
When I lived in Nashville in the 90's I hung out at a place called Gabes when I wasn't on the road.
One night Ken came in and spent a few hours listening to some great country music with steel guitar and shook some hands.
Cal Sharp if you're listening, were you there that night too?
