Olli Haavisto's new CD
Folks -- it is really good! Huge variety of material with a number of guest artists. Pedal steels, lap steels, resonators, Weissenborns. Tones from gnarly to honey-dipped. Full color spectrum. Sonically, it is an outstanding production. I'm so impressed and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Great job, Olli!

I thought I really should give a little credit to the musicians involved in the recording.
A LOT of credit, actually, since the idea of the whole record was the interaction between me and the amazing players who agreed to take part in this experiment.
They are, in my opinion, the very best in the word, really.
Guitars: Redd Volkaert, Dean Parks, Duke Levine, Eric Bibb, Timo Kämäräinen, Tuomas Wäinölä
Bass: Danny Thompson, Eeva Koivusalo, Anssi Växby, Pekka Gröhn
Trumpet: Verneri Pohjola
Vocals: Chris Cote, Eric Bibb
Drums: Janne Haavisto, Anssi Nykänen
Steel: BJ Cole
Harmonica: Pepe Ahlqvist
Banjo: Seppo Sillanpää
Mandolin: Petri Hakala
Keyboards: Jukka Gustavson, Esa Kotilainen, Tuomo Prättälä
I played pedal steel, lap steels, resophonic guitars, weissenborn, electric and acoustic guitars, mellotron, dulcimer and bass.
