Greg Leisz - Charles Lloyd & The Marvels + Lucinda Williams

Post by b0b »

Today I bought the double LP of Charles Lloyd & The Marvels + Lucinda Williams, "Vanished Gardens". Listened to Side 1 when I got home (gotta love vinyl). It did not disappoint. Wonderful improvisational steel by Greg Leisz as part of a world class jazz ensemble.

Thanks for the heads-up, b0b.

It's probably old news in these parts, but this line-up, sans Lucinda, has two great Kennedy Center sets that are go-to listens when I have hours of grading to get done.

Next level stuff, if it's new to anyone.
