Another - Who's The Steel Player?
Anyone know who the steel player is? He's wearing cool "western" attire for the Opry. The break starts @ 1:23.

Jon Light is correct, it is Katz. From doing shows with Marty & Katz in the 70s and 80s, I'm pretty sure that I recall Katz having his vol. pedal setup so that it worked in reverse of what we'd consider normal. He pulled back or upwards with his foot to increase vol. level.
Katz was a good player and a nice guy.
