Does anyone know who played steel on Daryles
early recordings? In particular "I never go round mirrors".

I'm thinking it was Mike Johnson.

I don't know if the Daryle Singletary, "That's Why I Sing This Way" CD is early or not--it's dated 2002. Anyway, the song "I Never Go Around Mirrors" on it, lists Mike Johnson on steel. Excellent steel playing on the CD. I remember, the band I was in at that time--2 or 3 of us went out and bought the CD so we could do some of the songs on it.
