shobud players more then 8+8 ??

any of you guy's that played shobud d-10 have more then
8 pedals and 8 knee levers if, so please post what you have...

Yes this is the Jim Murphy Sho~bud I restored for him; as it is the Pro II he got from Shot Jackson in the early 70's that was built for Doug J. and he played it one year and turned it back in.
It is 8 physical knee levers; but 5 knees play the E9 and 5 knees play the C6 and 10 pedals.
And yes like all the steels I worked on the took care of for Big Jim....I played them as much as I could>"INCREDIBLE set ups the way Big Jim visualized Music"

Shobud built my Super Pro with 9 and 9 back in 1982 ...and with chrome surround BL705's ... that guitar always sounded fantastic, just that the knee lever brackets kept breaking off

!! I eventually upgraded all the crappy pot metal parts to machined ali and it never let me down again. The guitar is still owned here in my home town although it looks a little in sad shape cosmetically.

Terry Bethel's Sho-Buds were always well loaded with more than 8 & 8 as well. They were well loaded and well used, I might add..!! What a great player and guy.

Was Jim using this guitar in late '83? I was in Nashville in late 1983, and our band was invited to play a set at a local hotel nightclub (might have been Rodeway Inn). The bar was at a higher floor. Jim was in that band, that was explained to me as a band that comprised some of the players who were not on the road at the time, and personnel varied. The frontman was from Mel McDaniels' band. After being totally terrified playing in front of Jim, we were talking and he let me sit behind his guitar and play around with it. I was wondering if this could have been that guitar. Jim was such a great player and really nice to me.
