I started playing the lap steel in 2004 under the leadership of Elder Willie Mae Roberts in Delray Beach FL House Of God Keith Dominion after transitioning from the drums. She encouraged and pushed me to go further.
Falling in love with the sound of the pedal steel guitar as a little boy listening to The late Rev. Glenn Lee sparked my interest in playing the Pedal Steel. After watching Elder Joe Randall and playing the drums behind him for many years I began to develop and mimic his style of playing.
"I prayed for the gift and God gave me the desires of my heart blessing me with the gift and the anointing that comes with it.
Later listening to many others such as Calvin Cooke, Chuck Campbell, Lester Wilks, Daryl Blue and Elder Noble by their dedication to the work put in encouraged me more".
