Solo album and tour *dates added

Post by W. Van Horn »

I'm very excited to announce that I'll be performing this year as a solo artist. I'll be posting some tour dates and updates this week.
In the meantime I'm releasing my EP today - "Pedal Steel Guitar". It's 5 of my favorite songs - by Z-Ro, Aphex Twin, Bjork, Squarepusher, and Mulatu Astatke - performed with pedal steel, fretless bass and drums.
I'd love for the forum to check it out!!
You can purchase/stream it anywhere - itunes, etc. http://hyperurl.co/willvanhorn

Physical CDs are available here: https://willvanhorn.bandcamp.com/album/ ... eel-guitar

Congrats! That Shobaleader One album is one of my favorites and I got to see them perform last year, probably the best concert of the year for me.

Swing through St. Louis, yes?
Excel Superb D10, Sarno Black Box, Goodrich L120, various effects into a Sarno Spectrum preamp feeding a Jay Ganz Straight Ahead into pair of JBL K130 loaded cabs.

They say "thats how it goes". I say "that ain't the way it stays!"

Will, if you're taking requests come by Milwaukee/Madison, WI. Super EP. Maybe you and Bob H can do a double bill here.

Thank yall so so much for the kind and encouraging words. And thanks to everyone who has ordered the CD from bandcamp. I'm humbled by the support I've gotten on this little endeavor.

I will be supporting Khruangbin on their fall North American tour. Unfortunately I will not be able to play the midwest dates - just the west and east coasts. Please check out the dates and come out and say hello. For those not familiar with Khruangbin they are a fantastic band and worth checking out.
