Cowboy Eddie Long

Post by Don Kuhn »

Saw Jamey Johnson Sat nite at the Horseshoe Casino in Louisiana 5 rows back from the stage and was surprised to see Cowboy Eddy Long doing his thing on steel as I really wasn't expecting a steel player. Eddie was very entertaining for the show, Jamey went from one song right on in to another and Eddie played on juat about everyone.

Don , I was there on the eighth row directly in front of Eddie. Excellent show by the entire band. Eddie is a great performer, lots of energy and a super player.

Eddie is a great guy and has begun to help me out since I am playing his tuning . He’s an awesome player and one heck of a jazz player if you turn him loose. I saw him in ft worth s few weeks ago and got to sit behind his BMI . I put a video on here with a link to my YouTube channel of him doing his thing !

I met Eddie about three years ago at the steel guitar show in Mt. Vernon Il. What a great picker he is, and a nice guy.
He will help anybody. I feel like I've known him for years.
