I met Jim Loessberg and David Wright!!

Post by Marty Broussard »

I was estactic to hear and visit with Jim last Saturday. That's been on my Bucket List for a long time along with meeting David.

I was so overwhelmed I took several videos of Jim playing but didn't get a pic together with him or David----aaarrrggghhh!!!

I hope I get to visit with them again soon. I won't forget to get my pics.

I played in a band with David a few times, back when he lived in the Modesto area. I remember his sense of humor and energy. His passion for the music was clear and he gave every song 100%. He is one of those guys that makes you want to play better than you can. I was young and dumb and had no idea who he was, but he did make an unforgettable impression. I hope he is doing well.

I love David Wright. Of course he's not as handsome as me....but a cool guy

Jim is great guy, too.

Funny note: Always wanted to meet Marty Brousarrd.

Both guys are stellar players!

Well, David saw my post and just laughed. He didn't cancel our dinner plans.

But, I wish we had dinner with Jim Loessburg instead. Or with you Marty. He bragged about how good you played and how great your tone was. I did not know you played for Tracy Byrd.

Anyway, had a lot of laughs with David and Red tonight but still wish it would have been with Jim or Marty.

I hope David doesn't see this one. :D :D :D

Mark,
It's evident that David has a true friend in you---LOL. Tell him I appreciate his comments about my tone. I wish I'd gotten to visit more with him and taken that darn pic I forgot to get for my personal collection.

Take care and best regards,

Like Mark Greenway, I have known David Wright for a while. He loves to give my wife a big ole hug and make her blush. David is a fantastic steel player who can put on a great show.
