For those who know Spence, he has just come out of Hospital and is at home recovering from a mini stroke.
I'm sure we all wish him well and a speedy recovery.

Hi Tony - after reading your news concerning Spence in the British forum, I have emailed a few of his friends over here to make them aware. He has had so many things go wrong in his life this year. I feel for him. I'll ring him when I get home later this week.

Will do Paddy. It has been a bit of a shock to be honest. Poor guy has had one thing after another. He really needs his mates arms around him at the moment, metaphorically speaking.

I had a lovely chat with Spence yesterday morning on the phone. He still sounds a little trembly in his voice, but he is very focussed on getting back to full health. He is talking very positively about going to the Dallas steel show next March.

He is aware of all of the best wishes from the steel guitar community. Despite having one setback after the other in his life, Spence remains upbeat and is even contemplating acquiring a new amp. Good on you Spencer!!
