Tim "The Professor" Alexander Has Passed...

Post by Robbie Bossert »

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and long time collaborator/band member of AATW,
"The Professor" Tim Alexander. Tim was a driving force in the band, from the moment he joined in the early 80's. After he left AATW, he continued to perform and record out of the DFW area. So much to say and so many memories, but at this time we find ourselves at a loss for words. Let's let his playing bring back the memories, Here's "The Professor" Beat Me Daddy 8 to the Bar!

Tim was a great player. He will be missed.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Sad news. I enjoyed hearing him play with AATW a couple times. He really laid it down. I learned a few things about how to play the button accordion from him in the videos he did with Flaco Jimenez and Max Baca.
RIP, Tim...
