Time Jumpers CD "Kid Sister" - Paul Franklin steel

Post by Jeff Garden »

If anyone hasn't heard the new Time Jumpers CD "Kid Sister" yet (it came out in Sep 2016), it's definitely worth a listen....an extremely talented group of musicians including Vince Gill and Paul Franklin's usual flawless pedal steel. This was the Time Jumpers tribute to their singer Dawn Sears (wife of Time Jumper fiddler Kenny Sears) who tragically passed away at the end of 2014. Some great original tunes as well as new takes on old standards.
Here's "I Miss You" written by Vince Gill and Ashley Monroe:

The entire CD is out on Apple Music, listening to it now on the computer and downloaded it to my phone for the car. Thanks for tip!

I bought the new cd at Barnes and Noble a few weeks back (was amazed that they had it) and agree, their best effort yet, all are great by the way, but this one is stellar.

I also like the fact that many of the band have featured lead vocals and all are unique and very enjoyable.

Paul's instrumental is a highlight of the recording as well.

Make sure you get it or put it on Santa's list :D
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

Just picked the CD up at Barnes & Noble. Paul shows his complete mastery of the pedal steel guitar.

I don't think, that, I could make it playing through that wonderful song, without tearing up.
