Roger Edgington w/Billy Mata in Fort Worth :)

Post by Larry Lenhart »

This weekend I was lucky enough to be in Dallas visiting my daughter and we all went to The Stagecoach in Forth Worth to see Billy Mata and Texas Tradition with the great Roger Edgington on steel. What a great dance it was with the Texas crowd...Roger sounded fantastic with his Zum and his Telonics amp !
He is such a great player and a nice man...I got to talk with him at breaks about steel guitar and steel players and it was a real treat. Billy's singing is wonderful and they just played song after song of my favorite tunes Western Swing style...the audience loved it also. If you havent had a chance to see them you definately need to go ! Here is Roger:
