So sad. Even after the big Northridge quake that knocked his Grammy's off his mantle and cracked his swimming pool, Al didn't care about the mess. He was always ready to jam and let pickers crash at his home. He was a "Picker's picker. I originally met him in 1980 when we both played with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

"Tone is in the hands. Unless your wife will let you buy a new amp. Then it's definitely in that amp."
We need to turn the TWANG up a little
It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.
They say that tone is all in the fingers...I say it is all in your head
Some of the best pieces of life are the little pieces all added up..Ron
the value of friendship. Old friends shine like diamonds, you can always call them and - most important - you can't buy them.

Al was such a great guy and a Dear Friend that was like another brother.
It is so difficult to put words around the feelings at this time.
I'll continue to miss him, and Sandra and I send our deepest sympathies to Sue and their families.
