Biab + Midinotate

Post by ed packard »

I use BIAB, and also a pgm called MIDINOTATE. MidiNotate allows downloading (free) an playing lots of big band, trio, sextet, various types of bluegrass and country that have been made into MIDI files by many folk.

The program was written by Mark Walsen. His address is: WWW.notation.com

To see what can be downloaded, type MIDI FILES into a search engine like Google, and see if you find anything that you like.

I tried to get Mark to allow me to add my stringed instrument solution program to his MidiNotate so that PSG solutions could be part of it, but he feels strongly about revealing the source code for MidiNotate; I have no problem letting him add my "stuff" to his, so push him in that direction if you contact him.

Move to suit, .the lines seem to blur re BIAB

Looks very useful, haven't had a chance to try it properly yet but appears to have a lot of potential.
